Germany's preeminent footballing publication reports that VfL Wolfsburg have finalized the purchase of Algerian national team striker Mohamed El Amine Amoura from Belgian side Union Saint-Giloise.

One of the VfL Wolfsburg transfer targets the club has reportedly been courting intensively has finalized his move to Germany's green company team. Thomas Hiete - the Wolfsburg correspondent for Germany's Kicker Magazine - reports that Algerian national team striker Mohamed El Amine Amoura will join the Autostädter for a transfer fee of approximately €17 million.

Wolfsburg may still be in the market for another striker after - it was confirmed today - the club lost out on targeted Norwegian striker Jørgen Strand Larsen. the 24-year-old ended up signing for Wolverhampton. Danish forward Jonas Wind - on a contract still good through 2026 - might end up remaining in Lower Saxony. Exit rumors have surrounded Wind, but there appears no taker yet.

In other Wolfsburg related transfer news, Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that French central defender Maxence Lacroix has rejected the club's offer to extend his current contract beyond the end of next season. The 24-year-old has often been linked with a move away from the club, potentially even joining former coach Oliver Glasner at Palace.

The German Wolves have - according to Croatian news portal Germanijak - have found a place for transfer flop Bartol Franjic. The 24-year-old - loaned out to relegated Bundesliga side SVDarmstadt 98 last year - will head to Shakhtar Donetsk. Whether or not Wolfsburg will loan or sell the player they once payed €7.5 million for remains to be seen.
