Kicker Report: Wolfsburg close in on two transfer targets

Thomas Hiete - the VfL Wolfsburg correspondent for Germany's preeminent footballing publication - reports that matters are looking good with respect to two of Germany's green company team's transfer targets.

VfL Wolfsburg have apparently convinced Racing Straßburg defensive midfielder/center back  Ismaël Landry Doukouré to join their project. The French youth international/Olympic representative wishes to sign a five-year-deal to play in Germany's northern "Autostadt". Doukouré - who already has experience as a sweeper and fullback at the age of 20 - counts as quite an interesting player set to make the move to German football.

Thomas Hiete - the VfL Wolfsburg correspondent for Germany's preeminent footballing publication - reports that Wolfsburg are currently negotiating with the youngster's French club over a transfer fee. Doukouré's deal should be sealed for around €12 million. Hiete also reports that Wolfsburg's search for some additional attacking assistance might soon bear fruit.

Algerian striker Mohamed El Amine Amoura of Union SG could soon don the neon green tricot. The 24-year-old netted an incredible 23 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions for the Belgian pro league runners up last season. Amoura's estimated market worth has catapulted up to €15 million amid his successful season. Hiete writes that Wolfsburg may soon be able to secure his services for around that amount.
