Speaking at a Presse Club München event, Jan-Christian Dreesen made it crystal clear that Michael Olise will be staying at Bayern Munich.

“Yes, of course [he will stay]. (…) [There was] no call, no letter and no fax from Real Madrid,” the Bavarian club's chairman explained.

Furthering his stance on the issue, Dreesen said he was bowled over by the amount of fake news linking Olise to the Galacticos.

“It’s astonishing what [rumours] can end up being spread when you know yourself what the truth actually is.

"It's really quite interesting. I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve been asked by friends [regarding Olise's future].

"But not a single person has said, ‘If someone offers €200million, you have to sell him,” Dreesen concluded with a smile.
