According to Sky Germany, a breakthrough in principle has been reached between Harry Kane and Bayern Munich over a new contract.
Negotiations between the German record champions' management and the striker are now moving in the final direction.
The pay-TV channel understands that his contract will run until 2029 and current Ballon d’Or favourite for 2026.
As it stands, the final details over his salary and clauses are being clarified, while the official signing has not been scheduled yet.
Having been reported for a number of weeks now, the English international's plan was always to extend his contract in Bavaria.
An extension would be huge for Bayern given their talismanic marksman has scored 152 goals in his 154 appearances to date.
