Bayern Munich vs. Dinamo Zagreb preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and Dinamo Zagreb, including our predicted lineups.

Bayern Munich will be hoping to build on a successful start to the season under new coach Vincent Kompany when they welcome Dinamo Zagreb to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday for their first Champions League match under the former Belgian international

The Bavarians have won four out of four so far this season and are coming off a crushing 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel, in which Kompany's men were 4-0 up at the break and Harry Kane scored a hat-trick.

That win should give Bayern plenty of confidence, and anything less than three points for the home side would be a huge surprise, especially given that Dinamo come into the game off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Hajduk Split that saw them drop to third in the Croatian league.

However, Bayern must be careful not to underestimate the Croatian champions, who qualified for the Champions League with a convincing 5-0 aggregate win over Qarabag.

On the injury front, Sacha Boey suffered a knee injury in training on Sunday, leaving Bayern with a problem at right-back as Josip Stanisic is already out for months.

Boey's absence means that Joshua Kimmich is likely to start on the right side of defense, with Joao Palhinha and Aleksandar Pavlovic pairing up in central midfield.

Alternatively, Konrad Laimer could come in at right-back, with Kimmich starting in midfield alongside Pavlovic.

Bayern will also be without Hiroki Ito, Daniel Peretz, Arijon Ibrahimovic and Tarek Buchmann.

Dinamo Zagreb, on the other hand, will travel to Munich with no injury or suspension concerns.
