With Manchester City found guilty of 114 of the 115 charges brought against them for breaches of financial regulations, the Premier League are currently considering their next course of action.

City remain adamant of their innocence and have challenged the decision, but should the Premier League giants face serious consequences, several star players could become available on the transfer market – including Phil Foden, who only just signed a long-term contract until 2030 with Manchester City during the summer.

According to TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich are among the clubs monitoring the 26-year-old, with the report stating that the German champions “would absolutely move” for Foden if he becomes available as a result of Manchester City's situation.

Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany knows Foden well, having played alongside him at Manchester City, and is said to be “keen on a reunion”.

Having supported Manchester City all his life, a move away from the club would undoubtedly be difficult for Foden. However, should the most severe sanctions materialise, both the player and the club could be forced to consider an exit.
