After breaking into Hertha BSC's starting lineup at just 16, Kennet Eichhorn has attracted interest from a host of European top clubs, including Bayern Munich.

According to Munich-based publication tz, the German champions have identified the young midfielder as a potential replacement for Leon Goretzka, whose contract expires next summer.

The report claims Bayern are willing to spend a total of €25 million on Eichhorn, covering his €12.5 million release clause plus salary and bonuses.

However, competition from other top clubs for the teenager's signature is fierce.

Meanwhile, Hertha are eager to extend Eichhorn's contract beyond 2027 and remove his release clause in the process.
