Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read remains a transfer target for Bayern Munich, according to Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk.

The Bavarians have been linked with the 20-year-old for some time, but weren't able to step up their interest in the summer, as they first needed to create space for him by offloading Sacha Boey.

As Falk points out, Bayern could revisit their interest in Read if they eventually manage to find a suitable buyer for the Frenchman.

However, time is ticking, and the Bavarians face significant competition for Read from Premier League clubs, he reports.

Read, the captain of the Netherlands U21s, remains under contract with Feyenoord until 2029.
