According to Mundo Deportivo, Bryan Zaragoza will likely become a permanent fixture at RCD Espanyol subject to two conditions happening.

Firstly, Espanyol must avoid relegation, and secondly, Zaragoza must play 45 minutes or more in at least 20 league matches.

Furthermore, the Catalan club has already agreed to a five-year contract with Zaragoza, if his loan becomes a permanent transfer.

For this to happen, Espanyol must exercise the reported €,8million purchase option they secured when the deal was finalized.

The Spaniard currently has 25 minutes in two appearances, but the five-year contract talks suggests Espanyol want to keep him long-term.

Incidentally, the report leaves open as to if the option becomes mandatory upon fulfillment or can only be exercised under those conditions.
