Chabot among several names overcoming injuries at Stuttgart

The Swabians appear to have a reasonably clear bill of health leading up to their Saturday clash at the Europa Park Stadion.

VfB Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß can rest assured that Jeff Chabot ought to be fit for their Bundesliga Matchday 3 clash with SC Freiburg.

The 27-year-old has apparently recovered from his adductor problem and should be fit for the Baden-Swabian duel.

Chabot's return was not the only good news for VfB as fellow centre-half Luca Jaquez trained with a face mask despite his broken nose.

Furthermore, Leonidas Stergiou (syndesmosis injury) and Ameen Al-Dakhil (muscular problems) also completed sessions with the team.

German internationals Alexander Nübel, Maximilian Mittelstädt, Angelo Stiller and Jamie Leweling also returned without injuries.

With only deputy goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow (knee) sidelined, it's possible that Stefan Drljaca will move up and sit on the bench in Freiburg.
