Despite taking the lead twice against Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich ultimately had to settle for a 2-2 draw in Saturday's Der Klassiker at the Allianz Arena.
Speaking after the game, Bayern interim coach Aaron Danks expressed his satisfaction with the performance but disappointment with the result.
“We have mixed feelings. We are very happy with our performance, especially in the second half. We had good control of the game,” Danks said.
“Dortmund have a very good defensive record, but I think we found many ways to create chances today.
"Of course, we are disappointed not to have won in the end. But I also have to make the players understand that the performance was good. We did a lot of things right and created the right moments for ourselves.”
Bayern will now turn their attention to Tuesday's Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
