Former Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund forward Marvin Ducksch is targeting a move away from Birmingham City in January, according to Sky Germany.

Ducksch joined the English side in the summer of 2025 for a fee of around €2 million, signing a contract until 2028.

He came close to leaving the Championship side in January, only for a move to Valencia CF to collapse at the last minute.

The 32-year-old could now secure a move in January instead. A return to Germany would be particularly appealing to Ducksch, with the Bundesliga understood to be his dream destination.

Ducksch has struggled for playing time this season, featuring for just 95 minutes across seven Championship appearances without registering a goal or an assist.
