Last summer, Eintracht Frankfurt showed interest in Soungoutou Magassa, but the French midfielder ultimately opted to join West Ham United instead.

Now, after a difficult first season in London, Eintracht are once again being linked with a move for the 22-year-old, with Bild reporting that he has been placed on the Bundesliga club’s shortlist.

Should he end up moving to Deutsche Bank Park, Magassa would reunite with new Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter, having previously played under him at AS Monaco before his move to England.

Magassa has made 26 appearances for West Ham, including 14 starts, after joining the club for a reported fee of €17 million.
