Eintracht Frankfurt stand firm on Hugo Ekitiké valuation amid Chelsea interest

Markus Krösche has made it clear that Eintracht Frankfurt won’t lower their €100 million asking price for Hugo Ekitiké amid interest from Chelsea.

Eintracht Frankfurt have issued a clear message regarding Hugo Ekitiké’s future amid ongoing links to Chelsea.

As board member for sport Markus Krösche made clear in an interview with Wiesbadener Kurier, the French striker will not be sold unless the club’s valuation is met.

“If the price isn’t right, then he’ll simply stay with us,” Krösche emphasized.

“We don’t have to sell Hugo.”

Reports suggest Chelsea are prepared to offer €80 million, but Eintracht are holding out for €100 million.

The former PSG forward is coming off a strong season with Eintracht Frankfurt, in which he recorded 22 goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances.
