L'Équipe’s José Barroso confirms Sacha Tavolieri’s report of strong Al-Hilal interest in signing Luis Díaz this summer. FC Bayern’s winger is also reportedly keen on making the move.
According to the latest update, the Saudi Pro League side are preparing an initial bid of at least €70 million. FC Bayern signed the player for the same price last summer from the then-Premier League champions Liverpool.
Although Díaz’s camp opened the doors for discussion, FC Bayern have made it clear that they have no intention of selling the player after only a season. The Colombian signed a four-year contract when he joined the Bavarians.
The 29-year-old scored 26 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Bayern. He formed one of the best attacking lines in Europe alongside fellow ex-Premier League stars Michael Olise and Harry Kane at Allianz Arena.
