Fabio Vieira offered to Bundesliga duo

Hamburger SV are understood to be in talks with Arsenal FC over a permanent move for Fábio Vieira.

HSV hold an option to make the midfielder's loan permanent for €20 million, but can only realistically afford to pay around €11 million for him, according to Sport Bild.

So far, however, Arsenal have not shown any willingness to lower their price, with the Gunners instead hoping that another interested club will be prepared to pay a higher fee than HSV.

With no agreement in sight between HSV and Arsenal, Vieira’s representatives are exploring alternatives and have offered the Portuguese midfielder to both Bayer 04 Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart, according to Sport Bild. Whether either club is interested in unclear at this stage.

Vieira scored seven goals and provided six assists in 31 appearances for HSV during the 2025/26 season.
