More than three months after his contract with Bayern Munich expired, Raphaël Guerreiro has yet to find a new team.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in past months, has been unable to find the right fit so far.

AC Milan were reportedly among the clubs Guerreiro was offered to in the summer, but the Serie A side ultimately decided to turn him down due to his wage demands and concerns over his fitness.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are once again considering the former Bundesliga star as they look to respond to the long-term injury absences of Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupiñán.

Guerreiro is understood to be at the top of the list of candidates alongside former Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal, with Fodé Ballo-Touré, Pol Lirola and Ricardo Pereira also mentioned as options.

A natural left-back who is also capable of playing in midfield, Guerreiro made 223 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, scoring 42 goals and providing 47 assists.
