SSC Napoli have concrete interest in SC Freiburg talent Johan Manzambi, per the latest transfer update from Sky Germany.

The versatile Swiss midfielder is seen as a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who will be sidelined for months.

The 20-year-old made a few appearances last campaign, but has been a breakout star for Freiburg this season and now a regular starter.

However, Manzambi is under contract with the Breisgau club until 2030 with no release clause, therefore the Bundesliga side holds the power.

So far in 2025-26, Manzambi has featured in nine Bundesliga games while providing a goal and two assists.

He is capable of playing defensive, central and attacking roles in the middle third and is valued at €15million by Transfermarkt.com.
