Goretzka to leave Bayern in January?

According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich are ready to offload Leon Goretzka in January, despite the fact that he's been getting plenty of game time of late.

After a difficult start to the season, Leon Goretzka has been playing a lot more recently. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany has turned to the 29-year-old midfielder in the last five games, partly due to the absences of Joao Palhinha and Aleksandar Pavlovic.

However, with Pavlovic back to full fitness and Joao Palhinha having resumed running training, Goretzka may soon find himself on the bench again.

And according to Sport Bild, Bayern's stance that Goretzka has no future at the club hasn't changed.

In fact, the central midfielder could be on his way out as early as January, according to the report.

So far, Goretzka has dismissed suggestions of a move away from Bayern, instead opting to work hard to improve his situation.

His current contract with the Bavarians runs until 2026.
