It was a dream come true for Tom Bischof when he joined Bayern Munich from TSG Hoffenheim in 2025.
In an interview with Welt am Sonntag, the 21-year-old midfielder opened up about his lifelong love for the club.
“I’m truly living my dream. Even as a child, I knew that becoming a professional footballer was my dream and my goal. I love FC Bayern. It was that way even when I was a child – and it still is today," Bischof said.
As a young boy, Bischof collected Bayern shirts featuring the names of his heroes on the back.
“I must have had around 30 shirts: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Franck Ribéry, Arjen Robben... I also thought Thiago was fantastic – an incredible player. Every time we went on holiday, I begged my parents to buy me a new shirt.”
Bischof has made 13 appearances for the German champions so far this season.
