GIVEMESPORT report Harry Kane is set to sign a contract extension at FC Bayern after productive discussions. The 33-year-old striker is entering the last year of his contract at the Rekordmeister.

According to Ben Jacobs, Kane will resume talks with FC Bayern this summer regarding the new deal. FC Barcelona and Al-Hilal both enquired about the England captain, but they understand the situation that Kane wants to stay in Bundesliga.

FC Bayern are relaxed about Kane’s future as there are no options to trigger the previous €65 million release clause reported by some outlets this summer. Kane is a strong candidate to win the 2025/26 Ballon d’Or after his strong campaigns with FC Bayern and England.

Kane scored 64 goals for Bayern since the start of the Club World Cup last summer. In total, he found the net 146 times in 147 appearances for the Bavarians. He became England's all-time top-scorer in the World Cup after his six goals helped the Three Lions to their best-ever finish since the 1966 triumph.
