The Hamburger Abendblatt is reporting that up to three new strikers alone could be signed by Hamburger SV in the summer transfer window.

No specific candidates have leaked at this time, but t he need for reinforcements in attack is linked to several potential departures.

Damion Downs, on loan from Southampton, has so far failed to impress enough to warrant a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, Robert Glatzel's recently outburst in the media at his lack of game time for HSV has effectively ended his own chances of staying.

Furthermore, it's unclear if Ransford Königsdörffer will extend his expiring contract, while Yussuf Poulsen remains very susceptible to injury.

Finally, 19-year-old talent Otto Stange is again being considered as a loan candidate which would enable him to gain more experience.
