He only signed for Hamburger SV at the tail end of the January transfer window, but Albert Grønbæk has already been dealt an injury blow.
The Hanseatic club are aware the 24-year-old suffered a fascia injury in training, revealed by examinations at the Athleticum in Volkspark.
MRI scans performed on Wednesday, February 11, at HSV's training center in Volkspark shed light on the affected area in his right thigh.
As a result, Hamburg believe Grønbæk is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks and wished him a speedy recovery.
Grønbæk joined HSV on loan from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes, but will have to wait a while longer to make his Bundesliga debut.
