Hütter keeps Ebnoutalib grounded: "It's not normal for things to move this quickly"

Following Younes Ebnoutalib's successful debut for the German national team, even national coach Jürgen Klopp recently raved about him. At Eintracht Frankfurt, Adi Hütter views his striker's meteoric rise with mixed feelings.

"A lot is happening to him," said Eintracht Frankfurt's Adi Hütter on Friday after their 4-0 friendly against Eintracht Braunschweig.

“He's joining the national team and there's a lot of hype, that's on his mind," the Frankfurt head coach said of his talented striker.

Hütter also indicated that he would need to be sensitive in dealing with the 23-year-old, urging him to keep his feet on the ground.

"You have to talk to him specifically. I've already told him that it's not normal for things to move this quickly [in your career].

“He was recently playing in Giessen – and suddenly [Germany national team coach] Jürgen Klopp is coaching him.

"This is insane. When I saw the pre-season training, I didn't expect it myself, I have to be honest," the coach remarked.

It seems Ebnoutalib made a big impression at the start of the season after four Bundesliga games, with four goals and one assist.

Despite failing to score, Ebnoutalib had made a positive impression, particularly against the Netherlands but less so against Greece.
