Bayern Munich ended a three-match winless streak with a comfortable 4-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.

After a goalless first half in which Stuttgart restricted Bayern to half-chances, the hosts found the net four times after the break, with Harry Kane bagging a hat-trick.

The first of his goals, on 57 minutes, came shortly after Josha Vagnoman had spurned Stuttgart's best chance of the game at the other end. The England captain unleashed a powerful shot from distance that left Alexander Nübel with no chance in the Stuttgart goal.

Bayern immediately went in search of a second goal and they found it on 61 minutes when Kane struck again, finding space to shoot despite being surrounded by defenders.

Kane completed his hat-trick on 80 minutes, being in the right place at the right time to slot home after Joao Palhinha's initial shot had been blocked.

Second-half substitute Kingsley Coman rounded off the scoring for Bayern with a late goal to cement a crushing 4-0 victory.

The win saw Bayern regain top spot in the Bundesliga from RB Leipzig, with the Bavarians topping the table on goal difference. Stuttgart are ninth.
