After Sky Germany reported RB Leipzig's interest in Tidiam Gomis on Wednesday, Leipziger Volkszeitung has gone one step further, claiming that a deal has already been struck.

According to the report, Leipzig have beaten off stiff competition to sign the 18-year-old, who will move to the Red Bull Arena this summer at the latest.

Gomis' current contract with Caen is due to expire at the end of the season.

The young winger has made 17 appearances in the French Ligue 2 this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

He has been capped six times by France at Under-19 level.
