Leverkusen put Palacios talks with Ipswich on hold as €20m offer deemed "far too low"
Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly put negotiations with Ipswich Town over Exequiel Palacios on hold after rejecting an offer of around €20 million from the English club. The player himself is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Negotiations between Bayer Leverkusen and Ipswich Town have been put on hold for the time being after the newly promoted Premier League side had an offer of around €20 million rejected, according to Sky Germany.
According to the German broadcaster, the offer was deemed “far too low” by Bayer Leverkusen.
With Palacios under contract until 2030, Leverkusen are under no pressure to sell.
However, the report claims that the player himself is keen on a move to the Premier League and has informed Leverkusen of his desire to move to England.
For any move to happen, the offer would have to be significantly higher, though, with a fee of around €40 million previously mentioned as a figure that could make Die Werkself consider selling.
