Leverkusen set to announce Moussa Diaby return

According to multiple reports, Moussa Diaby’s return to Bayer Leverkusen is complete, with the transfer expected to be officially announced shortly.

After weeks of negotiations, Bayer Leverkusen have now finalised a deal to bring Moussa Diaby back to the club, according to Kicker and Sky Germany.

The French winger has already signed a contract with Die Werkself until 2031, with his transfer from Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad set to be officially announced soon.

According to reports, Leverkusen will pay around €27 million for Diaby.

Diaby established himself as a key player at Leverkusen between 2019 and 2023, making 172 appearances and racking up 49 goals and 47 assists before joining Aston Villa for €55 million.
