Bayer Leverkusen are preparing for the official confirmation of their first winter signing. Issa Toure’s move from Djoliba AC was agreed upon months earlier, and it can now be processed in accordance with FIFA regulations.

The 18-year-old center-back is expected to join Leverkusen's training in the coming days once all visa formalities are done. According to BILD, Leverkusen will pay the 24-time Senegal champions €200k to complete the transfer.

Toure only celebrated his 18th birthday in November, but he has already played for the Mali U23 national team. He also played every minute when Mali finished third in the U17 World Cup back in 2023.
