Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United and Dortmund linked with Mainz and Japan star Kaishu Sano

Liverpool are showing strong interest in Mainz and Japan midfielder Kaishu Sano, according to Nikkan Sports.
The Japanese outlet also names Manchester United, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund as suitors for the 25-year-old midfielder.
Sano scored in Japan’s World Cup round of 32 clash with Brazil on Monday, but his goal was not enough to prevent a 2-1 defeat.
The 25-year-old is coming off a strong campaign for Mainz, in which he made 48 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
With Sano under contract until 2028, Mainz are in a solid negotiating position.
Bild speculated in March that the Bundesliga outfit could command a fee in the region of €50-60 million for their highly-rated midfielder, who has previously been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt and Brentford FC.
