Lyon winger Afonso Moreira being considered by Leverkusen

With Hertha BSC's Kennet Eichhorn seemingly secured, Bayer Leverkusen are working on their next transfer project of the summer.
According to FußballTransfers.com, Afonso Moreira of Olympique Lyon has captured the attention of the Rhineland club.
Leverkusen are even believed to be in negotiations with Lyon for the winger who was a breakout star in the 2025-26 Ligue 1 season.
Across 37 appearances in all competitions last campaign, the Portuguese winger yielded an impressive return of 8 goals and 11 assists.
Moreira initially joined the French outfit just a year ago for €2million from his native Sporting Lisbon's reserve team.
Besides Leverkusen, Manchester United and Atlético Madrid are also interested the 21-year-old valued at €20million by Transfermarkt.com.
