According to information from Caught Offside, Manchester City's John Stones is reportedly in contact with Bayern Munich's management.

Given the 31-year-old's contract with the Sky Blues is set to expire in the summer, Stones is on the lookout for potential future suitors.

Increasing indications suggest that City won't offer him a new contract, so the Englishman would therefore be available on a free transfer.

The report also mentions Stones' relationship with the Bavarians' coach Vincent Kompany and compatriot Harry Kane.

The versatile centre-half and Kompany made 22 appearances together for the Premier League giants between 2016 and 2019.

Stones and Kane have also played together for England's youth teams and featured together 61 times for the senior national team.

Aside from Bayern, Atlético Madrid and AC Milan are also mentioned as potential suitors, while a return to Everton is considered unlikely.
