Over the summer, Borussia Dortmund were linked with a move for Zagłębie Lubin’s Marcel Regula, but a deal ultimately failed to materialise.

That does not mean the 19-year-old Poland international is off BVB’s radar, however.

Sky Germany has backed up a previous report from Bild suggesting that the Black and Yellows remain very interested in the young attacking midfielder.

According to Sky, Zagłębie Lubin are demanding a fee of €7 million for Regula, which is a sum BVB could potentially pay as early as during the winter transfer window, particularly if funds are generated through player sales.

Regula made his senior international debut for Poland in last week’s 6-0 win over Romania and came off the bench in the subsequent 0-1 defeat to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
