Nkunku still waiting for his first France call-up
RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku is still waiting for his first call-up to the French national team.
RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch recently expressed his his puzzlement at the fact that Christopher Nkunku hasn't been called up to the France squad yet.
Speaking to Sport Bild, the midfielder himself reveals that he has had no contact with France coach Didier Deschamps yet.
"The national team coach hasn't spoken to me yet," said Nkunku and added:
"But if I continue like this, he probably can't look past me."
Nkunku, 23, has been in astonishing form this season, racking up nine goals and three assists in 10 games for Leipzig in all competitions.
