Yussuf Poulsen passed fit to face Dortmund

Yussuf Poulsen will be back in the RB Leipzig squad when Die Roten Bullen face Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

RB Leipzig will be boosted by the return of Yussuf Poulsen to the squad for Saturday's clash with Borussia Dortmund.

As RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose announced at his pre-match press conference on Friday, the Denmark international is ready to return from the hamstring injury that has kept him out of the club's last three games.

And as Rose pointed out, his return means a lot to Die Roten Bullen.

"It is always good to have ‘Yussi’ with us. His experience, his goal threat. And he is also an important factor in the development of Benjamin Sesko. The two of them talk a lot about football and Benji absorbs a lot from ‘Yussi,’ Rose told reporters.

“Yussi is of course always an important factor on the pitch. He brings defense, is willing to run a lot and can close important spaces - this is especially important against Dortmund. Of course, he is also a goal threat - with headers or set pieces.”
