Papadopoulos takes a swipe at new HSV coach: 'That was not the best solution'

Kyriakos Papadopoulos wasn't impressed with Christian Titz' decision to leave multiple experienced players out of the Hamburger SV squad.
The new Hamburger SC coach, Christian Titz, made a bold decision as he decided to exclude experienced players such as Dennis Diekmeier, Mergim Mavraj, Walace and André Hahn from his first matchday squad.

HSV were beaten 1-2 at home by Hertha yesterday, and after the match, defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos said he didn't understand the controversial decision by his new coach.

"He didn't talk to me. It's a huge pity that several experienced players weren't in the squad. They are important for the team. That was not the best solution," Papadopoulos told Kicker.

Hamburger SV are 17th in the Bundesliga and are yet to register a win in 2018.
