Report: Bayern reignite interest in Ridle Baku
Wolfsburg's Ridle Baku is once again being linked with FC Bayern.
Bayern München have reignited interest in Wolfsburg wide man Ridle Baku, according to tz.
The German champions are looking to sign a new right-back, with Benjamin Pavard better suited for the centre-back position and Bouna Sarr falling below expectations.
It's not the first time Baku is being linked with a move to Allianz Arena. Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic has previously confirmed that the Bavarians targeted the 23-year-old before he joined Wolfsburg from Mainz in 2020.
Since then, Baku has appeared 65 times for Wolfsburg, racking up 10 goals and 10 assists. He made his Germany debut in November 2020.
The 23-year-old is still under contract until 2025 and has a market value of €25 million, according to Transfermarkt.
