Hoffenheim boss "can't guarantee" Raum stay

Alexander Rosen has refused to rule out the possibility of David Raum leaving the club this summer.
Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen says he "can't guarantee" that David Raum will stay beyond the summer.

However, since Raum is under contract until 2026, it would take a special offer to prize him away from Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

"It wouldn't be a simple €20 million transfer. That alone would be insane for a player, who came from the second division on a free transfer," Rosen said after Hoffenheim's 2-4 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen yesterday.

"We're in the driver's seat in this regard."

The highly-rated left wing-back has had an impressive season in the Bundesliga following his move from Greuther Fürth last summer, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists in 31 league games for Hoffenheim so far.
