Kicker Report: Leverkusen keeper set for Brøndby loan-out

Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that Bayer 04 Leverkusen are preparing to park keeper Patrick Pentz north in Denmark.
After signing Czech keeper Matej Kovar earlier this week, Bayer 04 Leverkusen were expected to either offload or loan out their previous #2 Patrick Pentz. Germany's preeminent footballing publication now reports that a loan-out to Copenhagen's Brøndby IF is in the offing. The Austrian international may even be able to operate as the Danish club's starting net-minder for the coming season.

Pentz remains under contract with Germany's red company team through 2025. The 26-year-old earned his first cap at senior level for his national team in the spring of 2022 and current ÖFB trainer Ralf Rangnick has called him up over the last three international breaks. Brøndby currently only have two keepers on their roster.
