Newcastle United vs. Borussia Dortmund preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Wednesday's Champions League group stage clash between Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund, including predicted lineups.
Borussia Dortmund will be looking for their first win – and first goal – in the Champions League this season when they visit high-flying Newcastle United on Wednesday.

The Black and Yellows are unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season, having won their last five league games, but have so far failed to transfer their good domestic form to the Champions League, where they sit bottom of Group F with one point and a goal difference of 0-2 after two matches.

They'll be hoping to change that against Newcastle, but it won't be easy against Eddie Howe's in-form side, who beat Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 in their last Champions League game.

The home side will continue to be without Harvey Barnes and Sven Botman. Julian Ryerson will miss the game for Dortmund due to illness, with Marius Wolf expected to deputise at right-back. Otherwise, Terzic is not expected to make any changes to the team that beat Werder Bremen 1-0 on Friday.
