Bürki: Ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper in Europe
FC Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper in Europe, says Borussia Dortmund's Roman Bürki.
Borussia Dortmund keeper Roman Bürki admits he draws inspiration from Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen whom he describes as 'the best goalkeeper in Europe'.
Bürki is impressed by the German international's unique playing style and confident approach.
"Barcelona have the best goalkeeper in Europe in ter Stegen," Bürki said in an interview with Kicker and added:
"He has his own style and plays football like an outfield player."
"I often watch him play. He oozes confidence and goes through with his ideas with this confidence," Bürki explained.
Despite his impressive performances for Barcelona, ter Stegen remains Germany's second-choice keeper behind Bayern München star Manuel Neuer.
