Bayer Leverkusen vs. Paderborn preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Wednesday's DFB-Pokal round of 16 clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Paderborn, including predicted lineups.
A 14-match winning streak in all competitions came to an end for Bayer Leverkusen as the Bundesliga leaders were held to a 1-1 draw by Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.

Yet, still unbeaten this season, there's plenty to be optimistic about for the Werkself, who will be heavy favorites when they take on 2. Bundesliga side SC Paderborn in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.

However, Paderborn have shown that they can compete with Bundesliga opposition in the past, having beaten Freiburg 3-1 away in the round of 32.

Lukas Kwasniok's side go into the game after beating Hannover 96 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Florent Muslija to end a two-match losing streak.

Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso will be without Arthur and could rotate his side for the game, with Matej Kovar and Patrik Schick among those in line to start.

Paderborn have no fresh injury concerns and are likely to field the same 11 as in Sunday's 1-0 win over Hannover 96.
