Henriksen declares U17 world champion Dal ready for minutes: "I love working with young players."

After making two consecutive of newly-appointed FSV Mainz 05 head-coach's Bo Henriksen's bench squad's, Germany U17 World Champion Maxim Dal appears in line for some minutes against the German record champions on Saturday.
Although returning French defender Anthony Caci remains the most likely candidate to replace the suspended Dominik Kohr in FSV Mainz 05 head-coach Bo Henriksen's back-three on Saturday against Bayern, the newly-appointed FSV trainer made it clear that 18-year-old defender Maxim Dal will probably be ready to earn his first Bundesliga minutes.

Dal - part of Christian Wück's U17 World Cup winning squad this past autumn - has made Henriksen's last two bench squads. The Danish trainer noted that Dal was in line for his first Bundesliga minutes just prior to Kohr's sending off against Gladbach last Saturday afternoon. Dal is one of the stars featuring for the highly successful Mainz U19s, who have made the quarterfinals of UEFA's youth Champions League.

"We we're close to substituting Maxim," Henriksen revealed whilst speaking to the Mainzer Allgemeine Zeitung on Wednesday, "The most important thing is that the boys feel that they can be a part of us. I've spoken to him, you can see in his eyes how hungry he is. I love working with young players because they are so easy to inspire."
