Borussia Dortmund maintained the pressure on Bayern München at the top of the table by beating Freiburg 4-0 away from home on Saturday - a win that leaves BVB one point behind the Bavarians in the title race.

Next up for Dortmund are local rivals Schalke 04, and BVB captain Marco Reus is adamant to keep the momentum going with a derby win.

"We're all very tired now. We have to regenerate well the next two days. Then, we'll prepare ourselves for the derby in the normal way. It will not be a normal game, we know that. But we play at home, and we have now regained confidence. We want to stay up there and must walk all over Schalke," Reus told Sky after Sunday's game.

"We need to focus on our performances which may not have been at the level we had imagined in recent weeks. But we've said to ourselves that it's important that we stay together - especially when it gets tough - and continue to believe in winning the championship. We want to keep the pressure on Bayern until the very end," he said.

Reus and Dortmund have four games left to play this season.
