Report: Embolo has undergone a medical at Mönchengladbach
Apparently, Schalke 04's Breel Embolo visited Borussia-Park to undergo a medical in the weekend. If Gladbach will be able to agree on a transfer fee with Schalke 04 is questionable, though.
Breel Embolo underwent a medical at Borussia-Park in the weekend as Borussia Mönchengladbach continue their pursuit of the Schalke 04 striker, according to Rheinische Post.
Gladbach wanted to examine the 22-year-old, because he has had his career hampered by some serious injuries in the past.
Apparently, everything looked fine which means 'Die Fohlen' can now go on to negotiate with Schalke 04.
Striking a deal with 'The Royal Blues' could out turn out to be difficult, though. According to Sky, Schalke want close to €40 million for the striker, but Gladbach would be willing to offer considerably less.
Embolo, whose contract runs until 2021, scored six goals and made four assists in 28 appearances for Schalke in the 2018/19 season.
