Corentin Tolisso has talked about his ambitions for this season after returning from a cruciate ligament rupture that kept him out for the majority of Bayern München's 2018/19 campaign.

"It's a new start for me. I was out for a whole season. I really missed the everyday situations with the guys; in the dressing room and in the hotel before games. I wasn't really a part of the team and watched all the games on TV," Tolisso said in an interview with Sky Germany and added:

"First of all, I want to play as many games as possible and stay injury-free. I want to assert myself here as a first-team regular, and I want to be important in every game.

"I've also told myself that I want to be more dangerous in front of goal. I love scoring and setting up goals. That's very important for my playing style and something I'm measured on. I also want to win everything with my teammates. The triple would simply be great," the French midfielder explained.

Tolisso, 25, has made four appearances for Bayern München this season.
