Suat Serdar: 'We could have had even more points'
Suat Serdar believes Schalke 04 could have had even more points at this stage of the season.
Schalke 04 have made a fine start to their 2019/20 campaign under new coach David Wagner, sitting seventh in the Bundesliga table with 19 points after 11 games.
And according to Schalke 04 midfielder Suat Serdar, 'The Royal Blues' could have won even more points with a little more luck.
"We can be proud of how we've performed so far this season. But we also know we could have had even more points," Serdar said in an interview on the club's website in the wake of Saturday's 3-3 draw with Fortuna Düsseldorf and added:
"I'm not just talking about the draw against Düsseldorf. We also dropped points against Köln when we conceded in added time, and perhaps the goalless draw in the derby as well.
"On the other hand, we already have more points than we did after the entire [first half of] last season."
Schalke had a disappointing 2018/19 season that saw them finish 14th.
