Pep Guardiola's agent rules out return to Bayern
Pep Guardiola will not be returning to Bayern München in the summer of 2020, says his agent.
Pep Guardiola's agent, Josep Maria Orotbig, has dismissed reports that the Manchester City manager could take over the position as Bayern München coach in the summer of 2020.
Guardiola has been linked with a return to his former club, but Orotbig insists his client wants to fulfill his contract with Manchester City which runs until 2021.
"Pep is very happy in Manchester. His contract runs until June 2021. I haven't spoken to anybody in Germany about him - neither with agents or club bosses," Orotbig told Bild and continued:
"Pep has good memories of Munich and still has friends there. But he has never shown any interest in returning to Germany as a coach. This is something that would be just as impossble at the present time as last summer with Juventus. Guardiola always fulfills his contracts. I deny all rumours."
Guardiola worked as Bayern coach from 2013 to 2016.
