Dietmar Hamann takes swipe at Philippe Coutinho: 'He's not worth €100 million!'

Dietmar Hamann hasn't been blown away by Philippe Coutinho's performances at Bayern München until now.
Philippe Coutinho hasn't shown enough at Bayern München to justify his huge price tag, argues Dietmar Hamann.

Bayern have an option to buy the Barcelona loanee for €120 million at the end of the season, but the 27-year-old isn't worth that fee at all right now, according to the former German international.

"At this point, I wouldn't sign Coutinho on a permanent deal. Until now, he hasn't shown enough to justify a transfer fee of more than €100 million. At the moment, he's probably not even worth half of that," Hamann told t-online.de and continued:

"Coutinho is a sensitive player, and not everyone can play for Bayern München. That's a special club."

The Brazilian international has made 16 appearances for Bayern so far, racking up three goals and four assists.
