Mark Uth ruled out of Schalke's meeting with Union Berlin

Schalke 04 will be without Mark Uth when they face Union Berlin on Friday evening.
Mark Uth won't be able to feature when Schalke 04 take on Union Berlin on Friday evening.

The striker is suffering from an adductor problem which will keep him out of the game at Veltins-Arena.

"Mark Uth is out of tomorrow's game, although I don't think he'll be injured for too long. I'm hopeful that he'll return next week. None of our other injured players will return," Schalke coach David Wagner said at the pre-match press conference, as quoted by the club.

Wagner also provided an update on Salif Sané, Benjamin Stambouli, Nassim Boujellab and Alessandro Schöpf who are all sidelined with injuries as well.

"Everything is going to plan for Salif and Benji. We hope Salif will be back in February, while we'll have to see if Benji can return before Christmas or not," Wagner said.

"Nassim will probably return to training the week after the Leverkusen game. We're not sure if Schöpfi will play again before Christmas," he added.
